Dan founded the firm in 1979 after working as a Senior Business Auditor for Canada Revenue Agency and holding controllership positions in industry. His particular expertise is in taxation of owner/managed businesses, personal financial planning, trust and estate planning, business advice and international taxation. Dan also taught courses in taxation at B.C.I.T., from 1977 to 2008. Dan is a member of the Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners.

When Dan is not minding his clients' businesses, you may find him sharpening his skills at a course, usually his favourite golf and country course!

With more than 40 years experience in public practice, Barrie specializes in client accounting and review engagements, computer consulting and personal and corporate income tax, preparation of financial statements, quality control and staff training.

Barrie's other passions are jogging and surfing--usually the 'net'.
